FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Please note that we will still deliver your rental before your event start time. Also on many occasions we have to pick up your rental after the event end time. It just depends how busy we are that day.
Yes. There is an additional cost to rent a generator.
Note: The Generator is strictly to power a blower for an inflatable, or to power a concession machine IF you do not have an electrical outlet nearby. Blowers inflate the bounce house, not a generator. Generators provide portable electrical outlets to plug blowers into. If you have an electrical outlet nearby, you do not need to order a generator for a bounce house or concession machine.
1. Call the City Parks and Recreations Department and ask them what they need from us or if they have any restrictions or requirements for inflatables. Most parks will require a certificate from us where they are listed as additionally insured for your event. Some parks require a permit, and some just require proof of insurance from us. Please let us know if this is the case and we will direct the next steps! (NOTE: this is not the damage waiver that you can purchase from our company to protect the bouncer; that is different.)
2. Many parks require that you reserve a spot for your party. And most don’t have electricity that you can use for the jump house… if that is the case, you may need to rent a generator from us.
3. If you’ve rented a waterslide or wet inflatable, ensure that you have access and permission to use water at the location. You’ll need to bring a long hose.
For park rentals- Please let us know at least a week in advance if possible; earlier is better; so that we can plan and process accordingly.
This may also be due to our holiday pricing, which goes into affect within the week or two before and after a holiday.
If neither of these apply to you, please call our office and they will be happy to assist you!
Please note: Our units CAN be used in the rain and will not be harmed. However, our units do not have roofs that fully keep out the water. If you don't want your children to bounce in the rain, we're happy to reschedule.
If the rain isn't too bad, we say, just keep the rental on the same day. The kids can go out with a towel and dry the floor of the bounce house after the rain stops and then go back to bouncing!
If you're unsure of what's best for you and your event, don't hesitate to reach out! We're always happy to work with you!
All zippers and openings are closed
The value is cinched on tight to the blower
Anchored properly
Nothing is in the way of expansion (around the inflatable and height)
There are no noticeable or substantial tears or rips
If the pillars won't inflate, push on inflatable with your hand; it's usually caught on another pillar
Inflatable Blowers -
Blower on/off switch is set to the ON position
Blower is plugged into electrical outlet
Blower is not too close to the inflatable causing the value to kink
The fan guard on the side is able to suck air (no leaves, tarp, debris stuck to it)
Blower is not soaked wet
Blower is in a shaded spot if needed (it can overheat)
*Usually when a blower is not working, it is because it tripped the electrical circuit. Make sure the blower is the only thing plugged into the circuit as it can draw up to 15-20 amps*
Waterslide Hoses - Hose is not kinked
Hose is in drip sleeve and cinched tight with zip ties
Enough pressure is coming from the spicket
*Low pressure is recommended to drip water on the top of the slide, keeping it wet. Too high of pressure can cause the water to shoot over the slide, defeating the purpose of the drip system.*
*Please Note: Water has to end up somewhere. As the water runs, it will end up in the pool or spilling out onto set-up location.
